Hampstead Mothers' Club

All About our Club

The purpose of the Hampstead Mothers' Club is to engage our members and their families in social activities, support and encourage the parents of young children in Hampstead, provide services to the community and support educational programs throughout the Hampstead School District
 
The Hampstead Mothers' Club meets regularly on the first Tuesday of each month year round.
 
Meeting times are:
7:30 PM to 8:00 PM    Social
8:00 PM to 9:00 PM    Business
9:00 PM on                Social



There are committees within the Club that aid in organizing fundraisers and social activities. All members sign up for the committees that they feel they would enjoy the most!! (usually two per member) Children's Program Committee: organizes educational and fun children's activities for each month of the school year, such as apple picking, a visit to the Children's Museum, a Halloween Party, sledding, nature field trips, and visits to indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Social Committee: Arranges ladies' nights out, member/significant other dinners, holiday parties, ladies' weekend away and other activities for members, spouses and their families. Storyhour Committee: supports the storyhours sponsored by the Hampstead Mothers' Club at the Hampstead Public Library by reading stories and doing crafts (which are selected and prepared by the Children's Librarian) with children in the community. The Capital Committee researches what needs are in town to donate our funds to (currently all funds are designated for the playground at Depot Road). Special Committees: short-term committees are formed as needed to organize each fundraiser and special event.
